A look back at 2013

I’m a photographer because I love capturing the love of a family and the joy of a child, and I definitely got to do that in 2013. As I look back at some of my favorite photos of the year, I am so thankful for my wonderful clients. You let me into your homes and into your lives, and I am so grateful for that. Thank you for trusting me to capture these special moments of your lives. And here’s to more special moments in 2014!

Looking back and thinking ahead

With single-digit temperatures the last couple days, I can’t help but dream of sunny days and outdoor photo sessions. I wanted to take this chance to look back at some of my favorite photos from 2012. Thank you for letting me capture such important moments of your lives, from your engagements and weddings, to the births of your babies or photos for your high school seniors. I’ve been honored to document those moments for you.

But while we wait for spring, I want to encourage you to think about booking a winter session. Winter (as long as it’s not single-digit temperatures) can be a great time for photos. Freshly fallen snow is beautiful, and a family session with sleds, snowmen and scarves is fun and memorable.
