With single-digit temperatures the last couple days, I can’t help but dream of sunny days and outdoor photo sessions. I wanted to take this chance to look back at some of my favorite photos from 2012. Thank you for letting me capture such important moments of your lives, from your engagements and weddings, to the births of your babies or photos for your high school seniors. I’ve been honored to document those moments for you.
But while we wait for spring, I want to encourage you to think about booking a winter session. Winter (as long as it’s not single-digit temperatures) can be a great time for photos. Freshly fallen snow is beautiful, and a family session with sleds, snowmen and scarves is fun and memorable.

I met Cole and his parents Saturday morning at Mellow Park. We had a great time exploring the park, and I’m so glad I had the chance to capture these photos for this beautiful family. Here is the preview.
